I started painting in high school and continued to take art classes at Davidson College where I graduated with a degree in Art History. I've always had an anxious, curious mind and it led me away from art since graduation. I've worked at a law firm, a non profit, I've done advertising sales, millinery, fashion, and most recently stay at home momming. When I look back I am left wondering how I ever left my love of painting behind. But there's no use in mulling over the past. All of my experiences have helped to shape who I am today - a proud wife, loving mom of four, and an artist who takes color and movement and heart to canvas.
